Colwall Rotary responded by raising funds to send Shelterboxes (a worldwide Rotary Charity) to provide temporary accommodation for the victims

One of the objects of Rotary is to foster international understanding through visits and meetings with groups from overseas and other Rotary Clubs. In April 2011 the club visited the Rotary Club of Berlin Unter den Linden in Berlin.

Colwall Rotary

Colwall Funday - a Rotary organised focus for village clubs

Colwall Rotary Club has been organising the Colwall Funday on a 2-3 yearly schedule since the early 1990s.

This years event (2007) is scheduled for the Spring Bank Holiday Monday, 28th May.

All Colwall based organisations are again welcome to be involved on the day. If interested, please contact Bob Morrison on funday@colwallrotary.org.uk.

Location of Funday

It is hoped that Funday 2010 will once again be held on the Cricket Grounds of The Downs School in Brockhill Road, Colwall, by kind permission of the Headmaster.
 
There will be direction signs to the event from the A449 in Great Malvern and the A449 on Chance's Pitch below the British Camp.
